The AGM of the league was held on Friday 29 May - many thanks to all those clubs who sent a representative.
Here are the main points that were agreed:-
FIXTURES/VENUES
11 October 2009 - Bridgend
8 November 2009 - University of Bath
5/6 December 2009 - Taunton (to be confirmed)
13 February 2010 - Brecon
6 March 2010 - Blaise Castle, Bristol
RESULTS/SCORES
If the number of starters in any race is less than 20, the points awarded will start at 20. This will continue for 2009-2010.
TEAM AWARDS
There will be an award to the first team in the following age groups:
Men Over 60, Women Over 55, Men Under 23 and Women Under 23.
AWARDS
Sheila Crump Award - to an individual who has made a contribution to our league as a volunteer.
John Collins - Swansea Harriers.
SEQUENCE AWARDS
It was agreed to make awards to those athletes who have now reached 125 consecutive League races. The League will also make
awards at every 25 thereafter
REGISTRATION
Any club who prepays their entry fees will be able to 'fast-track' through registration. It is hoped that many more clubs
take advantage of this procedure.
OFFICIALS
The committee remains the same as 2008-2009. In addition Mary Davies becomes President for two years.
