A course map and timetable for the final fixture at Parc Bryn Bach, as well as parking and event information, are now posted on the Fixtures page. Please ensure that tents are pitched as indicated on the map (the other side of the car park to the course) as we are short of space by the course.
Finalised results and standings from Chepstow are now posted on Current Results | Match 4 Results. Club counts and match fees are now posted on Information | Fees and Clubs.
There will be a limited number of star T-Shirts available at Chepstow. However, if you have earned one and haven't picked it up yet, do please go to the table (inside the Premier Foyer) where you will be able to place an order if we don't have your size. We're going to change the colour for next year, and don't want to have lots of left-over stock.
Do please pay particular heed about not warming up on the racecourse in between the white PVC fencing. The “track” is seen as sacred ground.
While dogs are allowed on a lead, all dog mess must be picked up and taken away (not deposited in bins on site). The bins are provided for normal litter only.
A Happy New Year to everyone involved in any way with the John H Collins Gwent Cross Country League. With the intervention of Christmas, I completely forgot to put the club totals/payment due from Blaise Castle onto the website, but they have now been uploaded. Please arrange for a single payment per club as detailed on the Fees and Clubs page, and don't forget to send a confirmation email, it really helps.

7/10/25 Don't forget that declarations close on Wednesday evening. Since we are now using chipped numbers, please check the declarations page for updated information.
24/9/25 Details for the first fixture, on Saturday 11th October 2025, are now posted on the fixtures page. Please pay particular attention to the parking instructions. Do not park on the verges, access roads or in front of gates. Once the car park is full, you will need to park in the main park car par, as detailed. It would help us greatly if early starters left as soon as their race is over, to free up parking spaces for others.
23/7/25 The Fixtures page has been updated to reflect the fixtures for the upcoming 2025-26 season. The second fixture will again be held in conjunction with the Cardiff X, but note that this year it is not on the UKA recommended league weekend. The Committee and Awards pages have also been updated, as have the Rules for Competition, the latter for clarity not due to changes in the rules.
23/7/25 We are sad to report that former Gwent League official Arwyn Evans has passed away. Arwyn was a Brecon AC coach in the 1970's before becoming Powys AAA secretary and a level 4 (highest) track and field official who officiated at many high level meetings including UK championships. Arwyn also officiated for many years at Gwent League and Welsh Championship cross country fixtures. He worked as a reporter for the Brecon and Radnor Express.
