AGM 2008
The AGM of the league was held on Friday 25 July - many thanks to all those clubs who bothered to send a representative.
Here are the main points that were agreed:-
DECLARATIONS
Only one age group per declaration sheet
Only one age group per results envelope
If a team declaration is made after a race has started the team will score no points although the individuals may do so.
Any verbal (or other) abuse to any official will not be tolerated and may result in exclusion from the league
INSURANCE
All clubs should ensure that their competing members are fully registered and paidup in order to comply with insurance requirements.
RESULTS/SCORES
If the number of starters in any race is less than 20, the points awarded will start at 20. This will be reviewed each year.
At the final fixture, only Junior and Open Senior awards will be presented on the day. Awards for individuals and teams in the masters competitions will be made at the start of the following season - unless other arrangements are made
The Female Over 50 age group will be ceased and the Female Over 55 age group will be re-introduced. In addition, if numbers warrant it, a Female Over 65 award will also be made.
To win any Masters age group award a minimum of four fixtures must be completed.
Team competitions for Males Over 60 and Females Over 55 will be considered for the 2009-2010 season
